Grand Final Team Introduction - Beşiktaş
When it comes to the women's European CS: GO scene, you can't not mention "Juliano" and "zAAz", both core members of BJK. Both players have more than fifteen years of CS experience and won back to back Copenhagen Games Championships as members of Team Secret in 2016-17.
With the reorganization of that team, Juliano and zAAz joined RES Gaming. The were however not able to win their third consecutive trophy and came in runners-up.
Juliano and zAAz went on to recruit Petra, a member of Team Singularity (CPH games 2018 champion), and discovered rookie, Kr4sy, to form BJK. They quickly won the European qualifier of IEM Katowice, but lost to DIGNITAS 1: 2 in the global finals taking home third place.
At Copenhagen Games in 2019, they once again came up short and were defeated by CLG in the grand final. Every CS:GO fan knows what BJK is capable of in-game but they've always missed out on that bit of luck. At DreamHack Showdown it finally all clicked for BJK. They defeated both CLG and DIGNITAS in the final and claimed that elusive world championship title.
Recently, the team replaced their fifth member. Will this new look Besiktas team be able to find success again? Only time will tell and we look forward to watching them compete at NEST PRO Series finals.
